LAGBUS offers free ride to and fro venue of 2015 Lagos Carnival

Photo credit: The Guardian The Managing Director of the LAGBUS Asset Management Ltd., Mr Babatunde Disu, has said that there would be free buses to and fro Saturday’s 2015 Lagos Carnival. Disu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Friday that the free ride was intended to encourage more Lagos residents to participate in the carnival. He said the free rides were part of the mass transit bus company’s contribution to ensure large turnout of spectators to the festival holding at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. “The LAGBUS will provide limited free bus shuttle services for members of the public from 9.30 a.m. on Saturday as part of its contribution to the success of the 2015 Lagos Carnival. “We have in place designated buses that will offer the free rides to fun seekers to the carnival. “The buses will move from Berger, Mile 12, Oshodi, Ajah and FESTAC Town areas of Lagos to CMS and Obalende,’’ Disu told NAN.

After reading the story, our source explained that the old woman confessed that she killed DaGrin because the young Yorupa rapper had failed to keep his own side of the bargain after making him rich and famous within a short time. I have looked at this story from different angles and at this point, i am forced to ask: Could the old woman be right or is she just one of the growing population of attention seekers?   YOLA, Nigeria (AP) — A year ago, a dozen Nigerian troops fighting about 200 Boko Haram militants in the town of Chibok exhausted their ammunition and ran, leaving the road open for the abduction of nearly 300 girls. Today, Nigerian soldiers are rescuing hundreds of kidnapped girls and women from the last forest stronghold of the Islamic insurgents. The reason for the unimaginably swift shift in fortunes? In the last three months, military forces from neighboring Chad, Niger and Cameroon have joined the battle.
